Having said this, I think it's time for us to find alternatives that are considered "legitimate" by Microsoft, Google, and so on. That "revenue" comes one click at a time, and wow have I made them a ton of money! is that their sole intention is to share copyrighted materials, and to profit from said materials. I haven't read a whole lot about Dropbox here, and I know they're not an "approved Hosting site", but the reality is that there are legitimate alternatives to Depositfiles, Rapidgator, Bitshare, etc.įrom my personal standpoint, the "major difference" between these websites are that the people uploading content (and by no means is this a personal attack on them- I appreciate all the uploaders here) using a site like Depositfiles versus using a site like Dropbox, Skydrive, Cubby, etc.
